Hello! I'm Kaneka Threatt, a passionate and dedicated educator with over 17 years of experience in teaching. I obtained my undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham and my Masters and ED.S degrees from Alabama State University. My journey in education began with a desire to inspire young minds and encourage them to be lifelong learners. My love for technology enables me to integrate innovative teaching methods into my lessons, making learning both fun and impactful. I believe in fostering a growth mindset and encouraging my students to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. My classroom is a place where creativity and critical thinking are encouraged, and where students feel supported in their academic and personal growth. When I am not in the classroom , I enjoy reading, traveling, volunteering in local community projects, and exploring new teaching techniques to continually improve my practice.
